The billet temperature detection adopts the two-color integrated high-temperature thermometer produced by Wuhan CenterRise M&amp;C Engineering CO.,；Temperature measurement range: 600°C - 1400°C; All components are installed in a sturdy housing for continuous measurement. The optimized treatment is taken for the problems that the semi-finished billets are hindered by steam or other particles (scale) in the environment, and the billets movement and the installation limited field of view. It provides fast, real-time monitoring of high temperature billets.
Equipment cooling 
Using vortex air cooling device, no power supply is needed, only dry air is required, and the low temperature cooling gas below 0°C is output to cool the three sets of temperature detection equipment.
Signal transmission 
The bidirectional RS-485 communication of the measurement and control system is used among multiple (multi-stream) measuring equipment or among the measuring equipment and the secondary meter. The Industrial Ethernet or DP network communication is used between the secondary instrument and the PLC. The signal transmission equipment adopts the communication equipment supporting multi-protocol network.
Purge device (optional)
When the environmental occlusion is severe, and the main occlusion is gaseous substances such as steam, it is recommended to use a purging device. The purging device uses dry air, and the solenoid valve controls the start and stop.

The ZSQ-T100 online surface quality inspection system for casting billet adopts the principle of eddy current non-destructive testing. According to the section of the continuous casting machine and the shape of the casting billet, the eddy current sensors of different structures can be used to realize the non-contact surface defect detection on the surface of the billet, and draws the surface defect graph of the billet in real time according to the detection results.

The composition of the system
1.Detection frame: The detection frame is used to support the central detection sensor. The height of the detection frame can be adjusted automatically by the motor, so that the central detection sensor is aligned with the casting billet to be inspected.
2.Front and rear vertical nip roll device: The front and rear vertical nip rolls are used to make the inspected billet pass through the central detection head at an even and stable speed. The pressure roller is double pushed by the cylinder and the spring.
3.Central testing host: The central testing host is placed on the testing table. It has a four-sided control disc that scans the surface of each casting billet.
4.Descaling device: It is used to remove the oxide scale on the surface of the casting billet and eliminate the influence of noise on the eddy current flaw detection.

The WGS-L030 Laser Doppler Velocimetry mainly consists of two parts: hardware system and software system. The hardware system includes a set of laser Doppler speed sensors to measure the relative running speed of hot-rolled strips and sensors. The sensor arithmetic unit calculates the length of the steel plate passing through the sensor according to the measurement data of the laser Doppler speed sensors, and transmits it to the host system. The software in the host system calculates the speed and length of the hot-rolled strip according to the data of the arithmetic unit, and displays the relevant data and change curves. Measuring principle of the system：
The working principle of the laser Doppler Velocimetry is shown in the figure below. The speed sensor is an instrument that uses the laser Doppler effect to measure the speed of fluid or solid motion. Usually it consists of five parts: laser, incident optical unit, receiving optical unit, Doppler signal and data processor. The main advantages of laser Doppler speed sensor measurement are non-contact measurement, linear characteristics, and high spatial resolution and fast dynamic response. The laser Doppler speed sensor adopts the LDV system of modern opto-electronics and microprocessor technology, which can more easily realize the measurement of the fluid or solid in 2D and 3D. The tracer particle of the laser probe uses the Doppler frequency shift of light scattered by moving particles to obtain velocity information. Since it is the laser measurement, the Doppler frequency has a linear relationship with the velocity and has nothing to do with the temperature and pressure. It is the instrument with the highest measurement accuracy of the speed in the world.

The composition plan of the system：
The fixed-length cutting scheme of the laser velocimetry and length measuring instrument adopts the system structure shown in the figure to realize a set of laser Doppler velocimetry and length measuring system. The sensors of the hardware system adopt a group of laser Doppler speed sensors erected on one side or above the measured slab to be inspected for vertical diffuse reflection installation. The measurement of the strand condition monitor
Roll gap value：
By measuring the distance between a series of inner arc guide rolls and outer arc guide rolls on the roller bed of CCM.

The system realizes the fixed-length measurement of the width, thickness and length of the continuously cast product through machine vision and laser rangefinding system. The measured data is transmitted to the host system through the optical fiber. The host system calculates the weight of each billet according to different steel grades and specific gravity, so that we can realize the fixed length measurement and fixed weight control of the casting billets and the precise control of the steelmaking process in the production process. After cutting the billets by fixed weight and length, the fixed weight cut-to-length system is checked by the online weighing measurement system, so as to give feedback to the fixed length model of control system.
The slab number (automatic checking) can also be automatically identified online by using machine vision, and the weight and slab number can be automatically stored in the local database for use in the production and management system.

The measuring principle of the system
On the upper surface of the billet, a set of linear CCD cameras and a laser rangefinding instrument are respectively installed. Through machine vision and laser correction, we can achieve precise measurement of the cast products’ shape. Through accurate cast products’ shape monitoring, the billet thermal expansion coefficient of cast products and cast products’ density at the current temperature, we can obtain the quality of the billet. At the same time, we can achieve high-precision quality cut-to-length , namely, fixed-weight and fixed-length. The system can be matched with the weight detection and calibration system.
The system adopts the online barrier-free hidden integral roller table weighing method for continuous casting products, and connects its weighing data into the intelligent control model. The model and steel billet weighing system, and the fixed weight cut-to-length system realize the closed-loop control of the system model, and optimize the fixed weight accuracy through automatic signal collection.

The features of the system

The extension of the system
The system can install 1 to 8 cameras. Generally, when one camera cannot meet the requirements, the system can be equipped with 2 to 8 cameras. The detection principle：
The mold flux detection system developed by Wuhan CenterRise M&amp;C Engineering CO., Ltd. uses the laser triangular sensor fixedly installed above the mold to obtain the height h1 by scanning the upper surface layer of mold flux with high-precision laser triangulation. When the laser measuring head is placed each time, the height h3 of the upper nozzle of the mold will be marked, and the system through the PLC system which is connected to the continuous casting machine through the network to introduce the height h1 of the mold liquid level. Through the calculation of three heights, we can get the thickness of mold powder H = 900-h1-(h3-h2) mm (900mm is the depth of mold).

The continuous casting mold deflection detection instrument independently developed by our company is suitable for various molds such as slab, square billet, round billet and shaped billet. The system obtains the process parameters such as actual oscillation holographic parameters and negative slip amount of the oscillation table by effectively detecting the movement of the mold. The technicians can formulate the control strategy of the mould according to these actual parameters, and improve the output and quality of the product within a safe and reliable range.

The structure of the instrument
Continuous casting mold oscillation and deflection detection instrument is mainly composed of sensor system, sensor signal conditioning circuit, power supply circuit, synchronous data acquisition module, communication cable, and software data analysis system.
There are three axial acceleration sensors installed in the mold oscillation and deflection detection instrument, one of which is to detect the vertical oscillation signal (Y axis), and the other two are to detect the horizontal oscillation signal (X and Z axis). The signal obtained by the sensor is processed by the preprocessor and the preprocessing module. The oscillation signal and sensor status signal will be filtered and normalized, sent to the synchronous data collector for digitization and feature extraction, and the data is analyzed and processed by the master computer software to obtain various oscillation parameters and process parameters required by users.

The meaning of the system:
1. When the continuous casting machine is not working properly, the billet quality problems (such as unstable oscillation marks, edge cracks, etc.) occur. 2. The measuring principle

During the measurement, the laser head of the equipment rotates at a certain step angle to rapidly change the angle of the pulsed laser beam. Within 1 minute, the three-dimensional surface contour of the ladle lining can be formed, and the thickness information of the furnace lining can be obtained through coordinate conversion calculation. In order to accurately calculate the thickness of the lining in the ladle, the measuring head of the laser thickness gauge is installed on the ladle repairing platform. The Measuring principle
The measurement speed of LDT-I200 can reach up to 2,000,000 points per second, and each scan can obtain distance data of more than 1.5 million points. The actual surface curve of the entire converter lining can be obtained by combining the measurement data of different positions and angles.
During the measurement, the laser head of the equipment rotates at a certain step angle to rapidly change the angle of the pulsed laser beam. Within 4 minutes, the three-dimensional surface contour of the converter lining can be formed, and the thickness information of the furnace lining can be obtained through coordinate conversion calculation. The measurement accuracy up to ±2mm.
In order to convert the distance from the internal point of the converter to the thickness gauge into the thickness of the furnace lining at each point, we must know the coordinate relationship between the trolley and the converter. We use the second laser head to position the trolley. When the trolley is pushed to the measurement site, the positioning laser head rotates at high speed to scan the three reflective strips opposite the converter. Through triangulation measurement and calculation, we can calculate the relative position of the trolley to the reflective strips. The coordinates of the reflective strip and the converter are known through mapping, so that the coordinates of the trolley relative to the converter can be accurately obtained.

The non-contact diameter measuring system, is mainly used in the measurement of the outer diameter of various wire rods, bars, wires and pipes. The system can detect the change of the diameter (outer diameter) of the measured object in real time under the high temperature state.

The working principle
The diameter measuring system takes the laser scanning method as an example. It adopts the probe imported from Japan, which can achieve±2um accuracy at the range of 0.3~30mm. The acquisition frequency reaches 2000 times/second. The probe uses a self-excited infrared light source, which overcomes the measurement problem in dim environments.
It adopts the measurement method of pulse parallel light scanning, and has a strong ability to resist the jitter of the measured object. (As shown in Figure 1) Since the shaking frequency of the measured object is much smaller than the scanning frequency, when the measured object A moves in the shakeable area, the measurement result will be able to ensure its accuracy because the time it blocks the beam does not change.

The detection principle is as follows

First, the mold oscillator generates self-excited high-frequency pulses, which are sent to the comparator and the stepping servo motor respectively. The stepping servo motor drives the octahedral prism to rotate at a high speed, and reflects the infrared laser emitted by the laser generator to the convex lens A. It becomes parallel light, and then collects on the photosensitive element C through the convex lens B in the infrared receiving probe. The photosensitive element C converts this signal into a corresponding electrical signal and sends it to the other end of the comparator to compare with the original signal.
When there is no object to be measured in the measuring probe, the pulse signal at both ends of the comparator will be the same. Therefore, there is no difference output: when there is an object to be measured in the measuring probe, the photosensitive element C will output no pulse signal during the period of scanning through the object to be measured. Therefore, there will be a difference input for a period of time at both ends of the comparator, which corresponds to the diameter of the measured object. By calculating the oscillation period of the pulse and the length of the time slice without pulse, the diameter of the measured object can be known.

The effect of slag detection in converter tapping is of great significance to the control effect of the slag amount. The converter slag detection and control system developed by our company conducts non-contact monitoring of the tapping steel flow through the far-infrared detector thermal imager. It can detect the slag condition in real time and output an alarm signal and control system, which can replace manual visual inspection and provide accurate, efficient and stable slag detection effect. When the system finds the slag, the intelligent control unit quickly makes a judgment of lifting the furnace and blocking the slag and outputs an alarm signal.

The slag detection system mainly consists of five parts: sensor, preamplifier, signal processing unit, central processing unit and platform control box.

The working principle of the sensor
The sensor adopts the principle of electromagnetic induction for signal detection, and its typical structure is two concentric coils. When the primary coil is supplied with an intermediate frequency excitation current, due to the action of the magnetic field, an eddy current is generated in the steel flow, and the direction of the magnetic field is opposite to the direction of the magnetic field generated by the coil. Because the conductivity of slag is much lower than that of molten steel at high temperature (about 1/1000), the eddy currents generated in slag are much smaller than those generated in molten steel. In the process of pouring steel, all the molten steel flows out at the beginning of pouring. At the later stage of pouring, there will be steelmaking slag mixing out, which reduces the conductivity of the melt and enhances the electromagnetic field. This signal is measured by the secondary coil.

Principle of sensor construction
The primary coil and the secondary coil are isolated by high temperature resistant materials, and the coils are encapsulated in a flat ring made of special steel as a whole. Then two pairs of signal lines are drawn from the two-pole coil using a unique technical method, and sent to the secondary part. 

The installation of the sensor
The sensor is installed in the ladle reference plate, coaxial with the ladle nozzle, and acts as a guide part for the ladle nozzle casing tube at the same time.

The features of the system
