Banking Lawsuit: The ICBA sued the OCC on October 2, 2026, over national trust charters granted to crypto firms. The community bank group argues the OCC exceeded its authority by letting companies gain federal-bank-like status without meeting requirements like CRA obligations, consolidated supervision, capital and liquidity standards, and FDIC insurance. ICBA wants the court to invalidate the OCC’s Final Rule and Interpretive Letter 1176. The lawsuit follows approvals involving Ripple, Circle, Paxos, Fidelity Digital Assets, Revolut, World Liberty Financial, and Coinbase. ICBA President Rebeca Romero Rainey said Congress didn’t create trust charters as a crypto alternative. The OCC had not responded. Read more on CoinRab.

Hacker Error: A Bitget hacker lost nearly $700K after sending stolen crypto to Chainflip deposit channels on the wrong networks. AMLBot spotted the October 2 transfers: ~267,000 USDC on Ethereum sent to an Arbitrum channel (later blacklisted by Circle) and ~160 ETH moved to Arbitrum then sent to an Ethereum channel. The funds are stranded — cross-chain services use different deposit addresses per network, and blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. The transfers happened seconds apart, suggesting automated software with wrong network settings. This is a small fraction of the $387.5M Bitget hack on September 24. SlowMist and Mandiant are investigating. Read more on CoinRab.

The CLARITY Act suffered a setback after the Senate rejected a procedural motion 49 to 50, falling short of the 60 votes needed. Former CFTC Chairman J. Christopher Giancarlo said the SEC and CFTC can continue developing digital asset frameworks under existing authority. The bill would have divided responsibilities between the two agencies and created registration paths for exchanges and brokers. The SEC has already proposed Regulation Crypto Assets, a 402-page framework. Industry leaders, including Coinbase's Brian Armstrong, urged action beyond Congress. The bill remains technically alive but faces limited legislative time. Read the full report at CoinRaftar.

Why USA companies and individuals use Dim Weight Calculator like DIMMATH?

Saving Space During Shipping – 1. When shipping packages, space inside airplanes and trucks matters just as much as weight. Big but lightweight packages can take up a lot of room, which is why shipping carriers use Volumetric Weight (also called DIM weight). 2. Fair Pricing: Customers who use more space pay more, ensuring charges are fair. 3. Encouraging Smaller Boxes: Businesses are motivated to choose the right box size to avoid extra costs.

Before sending any package within the USA or internationally, shippers often check the price using the DimMath calculator. It saves time, ensures space is used in an easier manner, and helps estimate costs of packages accurately. Software, San Francisco
