The dosage protocol for MTP Kit follows a precise two-step schedule. Begin by taking one Mifepristone 200mg tablet orally with water on day one. Avoid eating anything heavy before or after taking this tablet. After a waiting period of 24 to 48 hours, administer four Misoprostol 200mcg tablets totaling 800mcg. Misoprostol can be placed in the cheek pouches (buccal), under the tongue (sublingual), or inserted vaginally, depending on comfort and preference. Avoid eating for at least two hours before taking Misoprostol. Bleeding and cramping typically begin within a few hours of Misoprostol intake, indicating the process has started. A follow-up abdominal ultrasound is strongly advised 10 to 14 days after completing the dosage to confirm the process is complete. If additional doses are required, space each set of four Misoprostol tablets at least 4 to 6 hours apart. Never exceed the recommended dosage without medical guidance.
